Apple is planning on releasing the iTunes LP format to major and indie labels alike, according to a statement released to UK site ElectricPig.com. The statement comes after rumors recently hit that Apple was charging some US$10K for the right to make iTunes LP versions of albums, which could explain why there are only 14 or of such titles so far.
Widget Factory announced the immediate availability of its iBend stand for the iPhone and iPod touch on Tuesday. The bendable stand is the thickness of a few sheets of paper and lays flat when not in use.
Apple updates iMovie 8 to version 8.0.5 Tuesday. The patch addresses various unspecified minor issues, and three specific issues dealing with iFrame, iPod nano, and window resizing.
