A Christmas Present?
Yesterday, investors that were long AAPL were handed a Christmas present from Piper Jaffray analysts Gene Munster, who said in an investor note that they are giving Apple a January event, which has a 75% chance of actually happening. The note also says that a Tablet has a 50/50 chance of being the main attraction.
On that news Apple (AAPL) the stock took off, starting with a gap up at the open, and in the holiday shortened session climbed to an all time high close of $6.94 (+3.43%). About an before the close, the stock hit an intraday and all-time high of $209.35!
